Uplift Our Crews Poster Drop Fundraiser

Created and executed marketing and fundraising strategy for Conscious Alliance’s ‘Uplift Our Crews’ Poster Drop Fundraiser supporting those in the music industry affected by venue shutdowns and the postponement of live music during the pandemic.

Impact

250 posters sold, raising over $11K to fund meal programs that support out-of-work music industry professionals, including 3 large-scale holiday meal distributions on the Colorado Front Range and a drive-thru distribution at #WeMakeEvents Red Alert Day.

The music industry is tough enough on the hard working men and women who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that the shows go off without a hitch and the musicians have everything they need to feel comfortable. They’re the first ones in and the last ones out. Then you add on a pandemic and the cards are double stacked against them. I found myself wondering often during 2020, ‘who’s looking out for the ones who look out for us?’ That’s where Conscious Alliance comes in.”

— David Shaw, The Revivalists

When live music was postponed and venues closed, Conscious Alliance turned their efforts to help feed the people behind the music that have supported the organization since day one—the stagehands, production crews, event staff and management teams—through weekly grocery giveaways and meal distribution events.
