Ways to Fundraise
Individual or Group Fundraising Pages: An Electric Forest attendee leveraged the support of the festival to rally fellow festival goers to donate. Electric Forest donated a pair of wristbands to the festival and anyone who donated was entered into a raffle to win. Raised $5561 from 180 individual donors in its initial year.
Product Giveaway Fundraiser: iKamper's 'Thanksgiving Giveback Giveaway' raised over $15K in 3-weeks by offering donors a chance to win an iKamper Skycamp Mini (valued at $3499). Since the raffle incentive was so valuable, the average donation made was $20 and yielded 236 (mostly new) donors.
Gift Incentive Fundraiser: Being a new agency, Mint Talent Group wanted to get their name and branding out to the public. Conscious Alliance created Mint-branded mugs that were distributed to anyone who donated $50+. The fundraiser yielded $2,935, exceeding it's initial goal.
Fundraise for a Food Beneficiary: Ripe wanted to help feed families in Boston, MA, so they leveraged the 'On the Road to End Childhood Hunger' campaign to raise funds for Pine Street Inn, an organization that works to secure permanent housing for unhoused community members.
Product Discount with Every Donation: Little Secrets Chocolates awarded customers who donated to their fundraiser with a $10 off coupon, sent with the donation confirmation and tax receipt email. Little Secrets raised $920 among 18 donors.
Matching Gift Fundraiser: Applegate kicked off their fundraiser with a $10K donation and matched all additional donations up to $5K.
Livestream Fundraiser: In lieu of charging for his Concert Carnival Livestream, Nat Keefe solicited donations benefitting Conscious Alliance throughout the webcast and on social media, raising $4125.
Beneficiary Fundraiser: The Love We Bring Foundation chose Conscious Alliance as its sole beneficiary for end-of-year fundraising. Their fundraising outreach among artists and those in the music industry raised over $20K through 63 one-time donations.
Impact Storytelling
During the end-of-year fundraiser, Conscious Alliance generated impact stories showing how funds were being use to feed families in need that were shared through social media channels and email marketing.
In 2020, Conscious Alliance’s social media coverage of their donation of 1,500 turkeys to Chance the Rapper’s SocialWorks’s Turkey Giveaway in Chicago caught the attention of Discover who reached out and contracted Conscious Alliance to produce a drive-up meal distribution event serving Chicago’s Chatham neighborhood. The Discover partnership continues to grow; Conscious Alliance will be producing a 1,500 person Holiday Meal Delivery event with Discover in November 2021.
Impact
Since it’s initial launch in 2018, donations raised from the annual peer-to-peer fundraiser has provided over 1 million meals to families in need.
